In your own words, what does your role involve?
My day to day role involves working with the Finance & Administration team.
What do you like most about working at Direct Couriers?
Over the many years wonderful relationships have been forged with fellow staff members and customers alike. I love the ethos and culture within the group which is based on that of a “Big Family”. It gives me such joy to reflect on the success of our company from our starting out “teething days” to today. We have moved ahead in leaps and bounds and this is attributable to no “one person” in particular but to the whole family that is Direct.
What is the most memorable thing that has happened during your time in the business?
The most memorable thing for me has been DIRECT’s expansion. Having started up in 1993 working out of my brothers garage on borrowed tressle tables with barely a business to call our own. Our journey has taken us through many different premises culminating in our representation in five states around Australia. I look forward to our continuation of “Our Journey”.
