About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Storeperson to join our Melbourne operations team.

In this role, you will assist the freight supervisor with consigning cargo, coordinating linehaul freight, meeting tight dispatch deadlines, and maximising vehicle loads to support daily transport schedules.

You will also be responsible for receiving, handling, and despatching freight, including container unpacks, palletising goods, and managing stock movements using RF scanning systems. You will work closely with warehouse staff, drivers, the freight and operations teams to ensure freight is processed accurately, efficiently, and on time.

What you need is:

To be successful, the ideal applicant will have the following skills, attributes and experience:

Minimum 12 months experience in a similar warehouse role

• Proven forklift experience (essential)
• Current forklift licence and valid driver’s licence
• Experience with RF scanners and pick/pack duties
• Container unpack and freight handling experience
• Experience with linehaul cargo and time-sensitive dispatch operations
• Knowledge of Movitnet or similar consigning software (advantage)
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices
• Sound computer skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Willingness to work daily overtime without restrictions
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
