What's the role?

As a Fleet Manager based out of our Brisbane office you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our fleet, ensuring compliance, safety, efficiency and outstanding service delivery. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for managing drivers, subcontractors, vehicle compliance, and operational performance across the state.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and support a team of company drivers and subcontractors
  • Ensure fleet availability and readiness to meet delivery schedules
  • Monitor compliance with Chain of Responsibility, WHS, and company standards
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance, servicing, and defect management
  • Collaborate with operations, customer service and warehouse teams
  • Drive safety-first culture and continuous improvement initiatives

What you need is:

To be successful, the ideal applicant will have the following skills, attributes and experience:

  • Excellent phone manner
  • Excellent communication skills (written, listening and verbal)
  • Ability to multi-task and manage workloads effectively
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Sound computer knowledge with proficiency working with Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience working within logistics/transport
  • Resilience, passion and ability to work at pace and under pressure
  • Willingness to learn and take on responsibilities
  • Proven experience in fleet or transport operations management
  • Strong knowledge of CoR, fatigue management and NHVR regulations
  • Valid driver’s licence
