About the role?

We're looking for a driven and personable Account Manager to join our Melbourne team. This is a field-based, relationship-focused role where no two days look the same.

You'll be the face of Direct Couriers for a portfolio of existing clients nurturing those relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and making sure our customers feel genuinely supported. Alongside your client work, you'll manage your own call cycle and balance competing priorities with confidence.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing and growing a portfolio of existing client accounts
• Identifying new business opportunities within your customer base
• Conducting regular client visits and maintaining a structured call cycle
• Acting as the primary point of contact for your clients' logistics needs
• Collaborating with internal teams to deliver outstanding service outcomes

What You'll Bring

• Experience in the transport or logistics industry, with courier and taxi truck knowledge highly regarded
• Exposure to freight forwarding is a real advantage
• Proven account management experience with a track record of retaining and growing clients
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• A customer-first mindset and the ability to solve problems on the fly
• Comfortable with IT systems and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Current driver's licence and access to your own vehicle
