Information Management Award
The annual Australian Supply Chain & Logistics Awards were presented by the Supply Chain Logistics Association of Australia at the Dockside Pavilion, Darling Harbour, Sydney on 4th November 2015.
Direct Couriers Submitted two entries the Information Management Award Category. This award recognises the significant achievement in the application of information technology within its supply chain. This award submission focused on the customer benefits of our Online Tracking and Notification System.
The Direct Couriers Online Tracking System has been developed and upgraded over many years . Each upgrade adds additional functionality based on the needs and wants of our customers.
Some of the functionality includes:
Pick up alert
Nearby alert (when the driver is within 6km of delivery)
Proof of delivery notification
Arrival times at pick up or delivery
Live GPS tracking with map or satellite view
Photo of the shipment delivered
Customers Invoice delivered with the POD.
